NINE firefighters fought a blaze after a fire broke out in a double decker bus on Stourton.
Two fire engines raced to Bridgnorth Road after receiving reports of a bus on fire just before 10am today (July 28).
The road was closed while crews worked to extinguish the flames.
It is not known whether any passengers were on board the bus, but West Midlands Fire Service confirmed nobody was injured in the fire.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The first crew arrived in four minutes to a fire involving a rear engine on a double decker.
"Fire fighters used hose reel jets to extinguish it. The road was temporarily closed for fire fighters safety and there was an amount of diesel that leaked from the vehicle."
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
