A man's body has been found inside a car on a Smethwick street.
Police confirmed that the man, who is thought to be in his 30s, was found in Wellington Road, Smethwick, at around 11.30am today (Wednesday April 28).
The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the coroner.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Wellington Road, Smethwick, following the discovery of a man’s body in a car just before 11.30am today (April 28).
"A man, thought to be in his 30s, was sadly found deceased.
"The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called following concerns for the welfare of a patient in a car on Wellington Road, Smethwick at 11.12am.
"Two ambulances, HART paramedics and two paramedic officers were sent to the scene.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the patient, a man, and he was confirmed deceased by ambulance staff on scene."
