FIREFIGHTERS and police were called when a car burst into flames at Oldbury earlier today (Monday March 28).
A response vehicle from Oldbury Fire Station attended the incident near Rounds Green Road and Dudley Road, Oldbury, at 12.13pm.
Firefighters arrived to find the engine bay of a black car on fire.

A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The owner of the car had absconded from the scene prior to our arrival.
"One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the fire.
"We worked with police colleagues to cordon off Dudley Road from the junction of Rounds Green Road to Halesowen Road. The incident was then left with the police."
West Midlands Police has been contacted for comment.
