MAUREEN ANN GROVE (nee GILL) Loving, and much loved and adored Wife, Mom, Nan and Great Nan passed peacefully way on Friday 11th October 2019. Maureen will be known to many through her chosen vocation of Midwifery. Maureen worked on Netherton as District Midwife from the late 1970's to 1990's then moved on to working at Wordsley Maternity Hospital, transferring to Russells Hall Hospital Maternity when Wordsley closed. Maureen retired from Russells Hall Hospital having brought many, many babies into this world. Always kind, caring and compassionate, Maureen touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met, both professionally and socially. During retirement, Maureen worked voluntarily with local Charities and Projects, again touching the lives of others with her generous caring nature. Although blighted by Alzheimer's over recent years, Maureen's spirit and personality has endeared her to those who cared for her, especially her love of dancing and music. Disease may have taken the physical away, but Maureen lives on, forever, within the love of our hearts. Her spirit forever entwined with ours. We love and miss you Maureen.
