BAKER DONALD JOHN Late of Rowley Regis. Suddenly and sadly passed away on 24th July 2008 at Sandwell General Hospital aged 86 years after a short illness borne with characteristic courage, patience and dignity. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday August 6th 2008, leaving from home address at 1pm to Hurst Green Methodist Church at 1.30 pm followed by private family cremation at Rowley Regis Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations for Leukaemia Research will be gratefully accepted at the funeral by Son-in-law Les Green or can be sent to N.E.Downing Funeral Directors Blackheath Ltd, Long Lane, Halesowen Tel 0121 422 2794 Loving Husband of the late Maria, very special Father of Pam, Paul and Jill, dear Brother of Brenda and adored Grandad of James and Rhys. A gentle man a heart of gold, no finer man this world could hold. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal, but neither time nor reason will change the way we feel. No one knows what heartache lies behind our smile, no one knows just how many times we've cried.
