VOTING has been getting under way today (Thursday November 15) to elect the first-ever West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.
Polling stations across the borough opened at 7am this morning and will remain open 10pm tonight.
The Supplementary Vote system is being used to determine who will hold the new high-profile post which comes with a salary of around £100,000.
Voters should put a cross for their first and second choice candidates in their respective columns. As long as a cross is marked in the first choice column the vote will count.
