OLD Halesonians RFC ran in nine tries as they cruised past Barkers Butts 57-12.
The hosts looked strong in the early exchanges but it was Hales who opened the scoring courtesy of a try from Loz Breeze, converted by Steve Powell.
Stand-off Tom Harris went over soon after to increase the advantage, before Butts got themselves on the scoresheet with a well worked try.
But a textbook line-out catch-and-drive lead to a try from Hales skipper Rich Taylor and Powell then secured the bonus point with the fourth try before the break.
The second-half saw the visitors continue their dominance.
Centre Simon Sabel, back row Tim Breakwell and hooker Pete Fitzgerald all scored.
Chris Hooper then came off the bench to score on his return from injury and though the hosts managed a second try, Luke Smith ensured Hales had the last laugh when he touched down following a flowing move.
Old Hales travel to Stoke this Saturday still holding a three point lead over Worcester at the top of Midlands One West.
The seconds enjoyed a fine afternoon as they demolished Bournville 54-5 at Wassell Grove.
Dave Wakefield scored the opening try following some nice interplay and Ollie Kealey soon increased the lead after another good move.
The third try was scored by Chris Deeks, before second rows Tom Lewis and Joe Bradley combined for the latter to score.
Scrum-half Greg Smith forced his way over from close range and Matt Weaver finished off a 20 metre driving maul, though Bournville did at least stem the tide with a try just before half-time.
But there was no chance of a comeback as second-half scores from Weaver, Andy Holloway and a late brace from Ben Perks ensured the rout was completed.
Elsewhere, tries from Andy Tromans and Adam Whiteman could not save the third XV from a 31-10 defeat against Malvern.
