CHICKS away! A Halesowen primary school has been overrun by fluffy little yellow and black friends.
Lapal Primary School pupils were overjoyed to see eggs hatch after following their progress in a new incubator.
Sarah Wootton, foundation phase leader, said: “All the chicks have been named and the children have the opportunity to feed them and let them out for exercise every day.
"The children were fascinated watching the chicks hatch and they have been writing daily chick diaries."
She added: "It gave the children an amazing experience of a real life cycle and provides a wonderful stimulus for work across the curriculum."
