AN ebay trader from Halesowen picked up more than £26,000 in benefits when he had £100,000 in bank accounts, a court heard.

Anthony Glidewell was put on supervision for six months after admitting four charges of failing to promptly notify the Department of Work and Pensions of the change in his circumstances and ordered to pay £80 costs.

Wolverhampton Crown Court was told the 46-year-old, of Bromsgrove Road, had not been charged with dishonestly failing to notify and had repaid the £26,138 he had wrongly obtained.
