CRADLEY MP Margot James will meet with campaigners battling for improvements to the town tomorrow.
The Cradley Action Group was anxious to get together with the Conservative MP before its next meeting on June 3.
Group founder Richard Legiewicz said he was pleased she had responded to their request for face-to-face talks.
The group is pressing for action to rid Colley Gate of derelict shops - some of which have been boarded up for more than 11 years.
“It will add a bit of ammunition to our case if we can get some big guns on board.
“We just want to get things moving,” he added.
Ms James will be taken to see the eyesore shops and piles of rubbish that previous tenants have left behind, which campaigners say, are attracting rats.
