A DESIGN a mug competition at a Rowley Regis school has been helping raise awareness about the dangers of loan sharks.
Ten-year-old Ethan Probert won the contest held at Brickhouse Primary School as part of its financial capability teaching.
The England Illegal Money Lending Team, which works with Sandwell Council on investigations, held a series of assemblies at the school.
Headteacher Paul Newby said: “As a school, we are really proud to be supporting the work against illegal money lending, in the hope that our children and families will not fall foul of loan sharks and end up in a cycle of debit.”
