SPRING has finally sprung and those wishing to stretch their legs can join a nature walk across The Leasowes.
The walk is lead by the warden on Sunday, May 10 from 10am to 12pm and those taking in the fresh air will get the chance to see spring flowers emerging.
Councillor Tracy Wood, cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The Leasowes is an extensive site with lots to see and do for all the family. This spring walk will highlight some of the first flowering plants of the season.”
The walk begins at 10am from the warden’s base, The Leasowes, off Mucklow Hill.
Those interested can book a place by calling 01384 814642.
