YOUNG Muslims from Halesowen joined an army of volunteers to sell poppies throughout the town on behalf of the Royal British Legion.
For the fourth year in a row, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, from the Baitul Ghafoor Mosque, Long Lane, helped raise hundreds of pounds for the appeal.
Association youth leader Wasim Shah said: "As British Ahmadi Muslims we’re proud to support the Poppy Appeal.
“We hope that our efforts are a clear indication of our desire for peace and unity between all nations, peoples and religions.”
To date, the association has raised more than £40,000 for Royal British Legion nationally and hopes to substantially boost the total raised this year.
