OLD Halesonians attempt to get their promotion drive back on track this Saturday when they head for South Leicester.
Hales will be looking for a victory that they hope will continue to put pressure on the National League 3 Midlands frontrunners Broadstreet and Nuneaton.
Recent victories over Scunthorpe and Sandbach have put Hales right back in the frame as they trail leaders Broadstreet by six points with just eight games to go.
Hales team manager Simon Hussey said: “We cannot afford to be complacent at South Leicester.
“ They, like a number of sides in this division, can be very difficult to beat on their home ground.
“They are a big physical side and we will need to be on our best form to beat them.”
Hales have been forced to rule out wing wizard Joe Oxford for the remainder of the season after he dislocated his knee in the game against Scunthorpe.
Both Jack Manners and Simon Sabel come into contention to replace Oxford at South Leicester with Hussey and added: “Luckily, we’ve got plenty of cover in this departmen “Indeed our strength in depth could prove a huge factor as we face the final games of the season.”
Hales also have a doubt over second row player Richard Sawyer who may miss the trip to South Leicester through work commitments.
And Hales remain hopeful of taking a good sprinkling of supporters with increasing crowds proving a factor of their recent rise through the ranks, adding to their regular diehards.
