HALESOWEN Town have captured highly-rated midfielder Peter Till.
Till, who is comfortable on either wing or in attack, joins after spells at Leamington and Solihull Moors last season.
The signing displays real intent from the Yeltz as their forthcoming 2014/15 Northern Premier League season nears.
The 28-year-old has a wealth of experience in both the Football League and the Conference. He began his career at Birmingham City, where he rose through the youth ranks before making his debut in a League Cup tie against Scunthorpe United in 2005.
He then spent a spell on loan with the Lincolnshire club before further loan moves to Boston United, Leyton Orient and Grimsby Town, who he joined on a permanent basis after being released by the Blues in 2007.
During his time with the Mariners, Till played at Wembley in the Football League Trophy Final. He spent time at Chesterfield on loan before joining home town club Walsall after leaving Grimsby, but his time at the Bescot Stadium was hampered by injuries, and he dropped into the Conference in 2010 to sign a one year deal with York City, before spending the following season at Fleetwood Town as they won the title.
More recently he has had spells with Leamington and Solihull Moors before joining up with the Yeltz.
Halesowen Town boss John Hill, said: "We are pleased to be able to welcome Peter Till to the football club. He is a very good player who was unfortunate with injuries when he played in the Football League. He can play in many positions and will be a big boost to the forthcoming season."
