HALESOWEN Town have boosted their squad with the signing of midfielder Danny Bragoli.
He links up with the Yeltz from Chasetown and is well known to manager John Hill as he skippered his former club, Tipton Town, in 2010 in the FA Cup First Round against Carlisle.
Bragoli got his Halesowen career of to a good start by scoring in last Saturday's 6-0 win over Stourport Swifts.
He began his career with Shrewsbury Town and also had international call-ups from Wales at under 14, under 15 and under 16 level.
A highly competitive player with a good engine, he started non-league football at Willenhall Town, had spells with Stourport Swifts and later played professionally in the USA with Wilmington Hammerhead.
He rejoined Stourport but then had spells with Hednesford Town, Willenhall, Chasetown and Tipton, where he made almost 250 appearances.
As skipper he led out Tipton in their historic FA Cup tie at Carlisle United, which they eventually lost 6-0 back in November 2010.
He re-signed for Rushall from Tipton during the summer of 2011 to begin a second spell at Dales Lane before switching to the Knitters in December 2011. He has since played for Chasetown before joining the Yeltz.
In last weekend's game against Swifts, Halesowen proved too strong for their hosts.
The Yeltz struck three goals in each half at Walshes Meadow to win 6-0.
Chris Lait opened the scoring with Mark Danks doubling the tally after some good work from Tom Tonks.
Former Harriers defender Joe Hull headed in at the far post just before the interval from a set-piece and substitute Bragoli netted with an excellent finish soon after the restart.
Another former Kidderminster favourite, Iyesden Christie, powered home Halesowen’s fifth before new-boy Robbie Thompson-Brown wrapped up the scoring.
The Yeltz will continue their pre-season preparations with an away game against Tividale tonight (7.45pm).
