Fought hard
I have just received the latest edition of Halesowen North matters from Cllr Karen Shakespeare who is seeking re-election this May.
The headline item relates to the former Holt Farm primary school and Cllr Shakespeare’s devastation on its closure and how she fought hard to keep the school going.
However a bit of research on the Dudley Council website reveals that, at a special meeting of the Dudley council cabinet, held on November 17, Cllr Shakespeare herself was one of the cabinet members present who approved the proposals to close Holt Farm primary school!
