Borough kids have been urged to ditch a lift and walk to school as part of a national campaign The event, run by Dudley Council's road safety and travel awareness team, has been organised alongside the national walk to school campaign being held between May 21 and 25.
Each borough school has been given a free pack, which includes posters, stickers and activity ideas.
Peter Vangeersdaele, group engineer, traffic and road safety, said: "Walk to school week is a great opportunity for children and parents to walk at least part of their school journey.
"It is a very positive event, and we hope every primary school in Dudley will take part."
