The new guild chairman Kath Heeley welcomed members to the April meeting. A letter of thanks was read by Kath from the retiring chairman Irene Smith for the gift presented to her for her four years in office.
Secretary read minutes of the previous meeting and these were signed.
Federation dates were given including, Christmas Fayre at Stourbridge in November, Hurst Green would be having a table; Social Studies, skittles June 7 at Clent; Homecraft, birthday party, Tuesday July 24 at Hagley Country Club; Music:concert for Cradley Darby and Joan; Keep fit still keeping fit. Coffee morning May 23; the Ramble in Uffamore Woods in on April 25, evening stroll.
The treasurer's report was read by Irene.
The speaker for the April meeting was Brian Draper who gave a talk on the River Wye.
Competition winners with a River Scene were Nancy and Kath.
Next meeting Thursday May 17 at Halesbury Schools at 7.30pm when the speaker will be Catherine Clarke on Hats. The competition Hat Parade.
