Dudley's war heroes are set to be honoured when they meet up with old comrades at a special event in the town.
Veterans' Day will be marked at Dudley Concert Hall on Wednesday June 27 with an event between 11am and 1pm, hosted by the Mayor of Dudley.
A presentation for veterans living in Dudley who have received a UK Armed Forces Veteran's badge may also be held at the event.
Any veterans who have not received a Veteran's Badge can apply for one by calling the Veterans Agency on freephone 0800 169 22777 or write to the Veterans Agency at Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, FY5 3WP.
Badges are available for men and women who served in HM Armed Forces before or during World War II. Anyone who enlisted in HM Armed Forces between September 3 1945 and December 31, 1984. Other groups who qualify include the Cyprus Regiment and Home Guard.
