In response to M. Cave's reply to my recent letter regarding Halesowen Leisure Centre.

May I point out that I did not in any way criticise either the efficiency or friendliness of the staff, who do an excellent job sometimes under difficult circumstances.

Neither did I criticise the facilities provided there but purely the need for Dudley Council to look at basic housekeeping before embarking on the £250,000 revamp.

The writer also identifies the need for more cleaners to ensure this and perhaps an extra cashier at reception.

However, a short wait at reception is a small price to pay if this is an indication of the popularity of the centre.
