Lead from the roof of Cradley High School has been taken by thieves.
Cradley High School is the latest victim of the crime, which has been on the increase due to rising costs of lead.
Last week we reported how two thirds of the lead roof at St Peter's Church in Cradley had been stolen.
Councillor Richard Body said a lot of lead had been stolen from the roof in a series of raids over the last few weeks, which had led to some classes being cancelled due to water running down electrics.
Cllr Body said he had asked Dudley Council to take action to prevent further attacks and install razor wire and CCTV after the first one at the school in Homer Hill but nothing was done.
Cllr Body said: "It won't be cheap to replace.
"They have taken an awful lot of lead.
"I asked if anything could be done about it to protect the school - nothing was done and now it's happened again.
"Maybe they did nothing because to them it's a school that doesn't matter."
Ray Watson, assistant director for children's services, said: "We are aware of the problem and the insurance company have been contacted in order for repairs to be carried out.
"We are also taking measures in order to prevent similar vandalism occurring in the future."
A spokesman for Dudley Council said the cost of the damage was not known as the claim was going to the school's insurance company.
Headteacher Toni Fowler was unavailable for comment.
