A Halesowen inventor launched a mattress designed to reduce cot death at the Baby Show at the NEC.
Paul Whale came up with the pioneering Purflow mattress when he and his wife had their first child.
The mattresses, which contour to a baby's body, are claimed to reduce factors leading to cot death and dust mites which can be dangerous to babies.
