In a letter by N Slater, Halesowen News, May 10, he inaccurately implies I am a member of the Labour Party.
For the record N Slater is wrong and really needs to get his/her facts correct. N Slater also needs to get his historical facts correct.
The Second World War was not fought to stop immigration - it was fought to stop the spread of fascism across Europe.
Those that lived and fought during the war would not have considered it a "joke", as N Slater states, to stop Hitler's Nazis from spreading their politics of racial purity and the death camps that this led to.
This is why the very existence of a fascist party such as the BNP is an insult to all those that helped stop the fascists from winning the Second World War.
N Slater may well be disappointed with the Labour Government. With Labour adopting many Tory free market' policies we have seen council run care homes replaced by fee charging private care homes. Free University education has been replaced by tuition fees.
A free public NHS is being eroded by back door privatisation and now charging is being talked about on top of the disgraceful parking fees at our hospitals. Etc, etc, etc.
But however brassed off N Slater is it is simply illogical for him/her to blame immigrants for Labour's policies. And finally, isn't it revealing that a member of the BNP cannot write a letter without moaning about immigration and waffling on about race'. And they wonder why they are called racist!
