The daily grind of trying to get in the town at 0900. That queue of traffic, a necklace of stationary cars almost encircling the town.
Why not have traffic lights BEFORE the junction with Church Vale to give those of us in the Vale a chance to join the queue in safety.
But it's not all brickbats.
Congratulations to whoever organised the resurfacing of Short Street in Short Cross. Now then.... when the white lines are painted on, can we please have the GIVE WAY triangle put back and double broken white lines, sort of like in the Highway Code section on road markings.
If the traffic engineers want a lesson in careless driving I invite them to stand at the bottom of Short Street when those of us on the major road approach Short Street and have to brake suddenly because motorists exiting Short Street think they have right of way and go barrelling over the junction into your path.
I'm already forced into the middle of Attwood Street because of cars parked on the nearside. So many near misses.
Anyway, rant over.
