Third Cradley road closed due to water leak
ANOTHER street in Cradley has had to be closed due to a water leak – the third road to be shut this week.
Repair work is underway on Toys Lane, with Dudley Council anticipating that it may take up to seven or eight days to complete.
Signed diversions are currently in operation, and for light vehicles it will be Park Road, Chapel House Lane, Tanhouse Lane and vice-versa.
For HGVs the route will be via Park Road, Balds Lane, Careless Green, Oldnall Road.
Saltbrook Road and Lyde Green have already been closed this week due to water-related problems.
A council spokesman said in all closures, access to frontages will be maintained “where safe to do so”.
