A 43-year-old woman remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Netherton.
The accident happened just after 3pm yesterday (March 19) on Baptist End Road.
The driver of a silver Peugeot 307 stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are now encouraging anyone who may have seen the accident to come forward.
Sgt Alan Wood, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "The collision happened on Baptist End Road near to the junction with Park Road. We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or has any information that would assist, or holds dash cam footage of the incident to contact us."
