Two cars were stolen from the home.
CALLOUS thieves let a pet dog loose when they stole two cars from a home in Rowley Regis.
Police are investigating the burglary on Alwin Road sometime before 5am this morning (Wednesday).
Two cars - a Peugeot 208 GTI and a BMW 3 Series 318i - were taken after burglars broke in at the back of the home.
A pet dog was let loose, but after a search it has been reunited with its owner.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Enquiries continue and anyone with information is asked to contact us via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, or call 101 anytime.
