DUDLEY student Blessing Chitapa has made it through to the knockout round of The Voice.
The Dudley College student battled it out against her fellow Olly Murs team mate Beryl McCormack on Saturday's show.
The pair performed an emotional rendition of 'Flying Without Wings' by Westlife.
Her stellar performance, which was described as "phenomenal" by Olly Murs, sealed the 17-year-old's place in the next round of the competition.
Sir Tom Jones praised the pair's performance as a "wonderful job" and Meghan Trainor said the duo were "magical".
Olly Murs added: "This is the best battle I've seen so far, fact."
The round saw two members of each team sing together to win a place in the next round, with the losing act being in with chance to be picked by another judge.
It was not the end of the line for Blessing's team mate Beryl, who was snapped up by Meghan Trainor.
Blessing will next perform in the knockout round to be in with the chance of winning a place in the live rounds of the hit ITV competition.
The student, who is currently studying biology, chemistry and psychology A-Levels at Dudley College, was cheered on by her proud family who are pastors at Cornerstone Fellowship International Church in West Bromwich.
