A HALESOWEN man has been banned from driving for 20 months after drink driving on a motorway.
Lukasik Dawid, aged 36, of Moat Drive, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Mercedes on the M6 north onto the M5 south.
He was found to have 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 20 months and was ordered to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £467, a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court.
The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.
Svajunas Stasytis, of Hollyhock Road, Dudley, admitted unlawfully possessing a steak knife in public in Wednesbury.
He was given a 26 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and was ordered to pay a £122 surcharge.
Craig Booth, aged 42, of Kirby Drive, Lower Gornal, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka worth £15.99 from Himley Road service station.
He also admitted driving without insurance or a licence.
He received a four week sentence suspended for 12 months due to offending while on a suspended sentence.
Magistrates said Booth was making good progress on his current with a good support network in place to help him rehabilitate, which would be affected by custody.
Booth was given an eight week curfew with electronic monitoring and was ordered to pay a court bill totalling £337.99.
Cleeve Ebanks, aged 36, of Acorn Close, West Bromwich, pleaded guilty to stealing two tyres, worth £300 each, from Enterprise Cars in Lye.
He was ordered to pay £417 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
Conor Neale, aged 28, of Cinder Bank Road, Netherton, pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker.
He also admitted possessing cannabis. He received a community order and was ordered to pay fines, a surcharge and costs totalling £530.
Steven Meese, aged 30, of Balds Lane, Lye, pleaded guilty to stealing £307 worth of goods from Co-Op and £300 worth of chocolate from Tesco in Stourbridge.
He received a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and was ordered to pay a £290 court bill.
Jason Philips, aged 38, of Downfield Drive, Sedgley, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing meat from Co-Op on Dibdale Road.
He received a conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £125.92 in surcharges and costs.
Kieran Russell, aged 28, of Smallshire Way, Wordsley, admitted causing £200 worth of unlawful damage to a Ford Ranger wing mirror.
He was ordered to pay £200 in compensation, a £32 surcharge, a £100 fine and £135 costs.
