HALESOWEN residents are being asked to look for two lost parrots which have been spotted in the area.
Wild Zoological Park is appealing for the public's help to trace two macaws from its free flying display team.
The large green birds, which have a red patch on top of their heads, can't find their way home to the park in Bobbington after wind hit half way through a display yesterday (Monday).
They had been spotted earlier today in Illey Lane, Halesowen, but sadly flew off before members of the zoo team arrived.
A resident shared news of the sighting on the Facebook page Halesowen Times - Take Two.
A spokesman for the zoo said on Facebook: "We did have two parrots out for a few days in early summer last year which have been flying in shows since.
"These are not the same birds although they are used to flying twice a day, every day.
"Any help and sightings will be gratefully received."
Anyone with information can call the zoo immediately on 0754 0123917 or 07889 723567.
