A HALESOWEN couple are appealing for the return of a precious clock which was handcrafted for their unborn baby.
Daniella Staub-Evans and her partner Lyndsay Evans are gutted after the clock, which had been left on their doorstep in Banners Lane by a delivery driver, was stolen.
The Winnie-the-Pooh themed clock, which had been lovingly crafted by Lyndsay's dad Wyn Evans for the couple's unborn daughter, was taken last Tuesday (November 17).
Mr Evans, aged 68, of Oswestry, had spent months making the unique timepiece, which he had also hand painted.
The picture above is the latest picture of it before it was painted and the hands and mechanism installed.
Daniella and Lyndsay's first child, a daughter, is due in March.
Newborn photographer Daniella, aged 37, said: "The delivery firm said we could claim for the money back, but it's not worth anything in monetary terms.
"It's the time and love that has gone into it, which is priceless.
"Wyn had spent months making it, trying to get it right. It's the first thing he has made for her.
"If whoever took it could just return it we would be so happy.
"Someone should recognise it as it's so distinctive."
Daniella, who hails from South Africa and moved to the UK eight years ago, and Lyndsay, aged 36, who is a nurse at Birmingham Children's Hospital, were due to get married this year, but had to postpone their nuptials till next January due to coronavirus.
Anyone who knows where the clock is or who has it, is asked to return it to the couple.
