DEVASTATED school friends have left tributes at Rowley Regis train station to the 13-year-old Oldbury Academy pupil killed on the tracks.
A shrine has been set up with pictures, messages, flowers and candles to the boy who died on the tracks near the station on Monday November 30 at 3.38pm.
The Oldbury Academy pupil, who has only been named at the shrine as Nat, also had the nickname 'Dream' and is described in tributes as "smart, kind and caring."
A banner reads 'RIP Nat 'Dream,' sleep in peace, you will be deeply missed, rest with the angels, we all love you Nat.'
Academy headteacher Philip Shackleton and other teachers accompanied pupils to the shrine at the station on Station Road to pay their respects last Thursday (December 3).
Mr Shackleton sent a message to parents today (Monday December 7) as devastated friends of Nat are reeling from his death.
He said: "Out of respect for the family’s wishes for privacy, we are not in a position to share our tribute to a student who died last week.
"We will do so at an appropriate time.
"We would however like to give our students the opportunity to write a message of condolence which we will share with his family via the Police Family Liaison Officer.
"We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone but we are keen for our students to remember and share their memories of a much loved member of our school community."
Messages at the scene of the shrine read: "I hope you are having a great time in a better place now.
"Nobody will ever forget you, how could they.
"I remember the day we met - you will always be in my heart."
Another tribute, addressed to Nathapong, reads: "You were honestly so smart, kind and caring and always came to school with a huge smile on your face."
British Transport Police said the boy's death is not being treated a suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.
