FAMILIES can enjoy the fun of the seaside at Merry Hill Centre this summer.
It may be landlocked but visitors can enjoy the sand at the Fun Park on Engine Lane as part of the centre's line-up of summer events.
The beach includes traditional fun fair rides such as dodgems and teacups, as well as paddling pools for visitors to relax.
Street food from Salty Dogg and The Caribbean Kitchen will also be on hand, along with ice cream from Carte D'Or.
The beach is open until September 5, from 12pm to 8pm. Entry is free but visitors are advised to book beforehand.
For more action packed fun, families can also enjoy Bumper Carz at the arena close to Mango.
Dino RAWR events will also be taking place throughout the summer for dinosaur obsessed little ones.
The events run between 10am and 3pm from Wednesday 11 to Friday August 13 on the lower mall near Mango.
The fun includes How to Train Your Dino’ shows and Dino Wrangler Boot Camp
These events are recommended for children aged 3 – 8 years old and booking is required for the Wednesday and Friday shows.
Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager at Merry Hill said: “Our events are the perfect way to keep children entertained this summer – but there’s something for parents to enjoy too, with a range of activities for all ages, including space for adults to unwind and relax.
“Our summer events have been a huge hit with visitors so far, and we look forward to welcoming more families over the coming weeks. With all these events and over 250 brands within the centre itself, there’s never been a better time to plan a day out at Merry Hill.”
