A CRADLEY church is set to open its doors and celebrate its history this weekend.
St Peter's Parish Church will host a day of fun this Saturday (September 18) for Heritage Open Day, which will see the return of its popular teddy bear parachute jump.
The day kicks off at 10am when the church will be open to visitors, who are welcome to look up their relatives in the parish registers and look around the church which dates back to 1789.
There will also be a chance to view the church's historic three stained glass windows by local stained-glass artist William Pardoe of the Stourbridge Stained Glassworks.
History group Cradley Then and Now will be on hand to help visitors explore their family tree and find family graves in the churchyard.
The day will also see the return of the popular teddy bear parachute jump from the church's tower.
International concert organist Michael Carter will finish the day with a performance of film and TV classics on the Compton organ.
The day takes laces from 10am to 4.30pm.
