A HALESOWEN woman has been fined over £200 for dropping a cigarette on a main road.
Suzanne Davis-Smith, from Bredon Court, Halesowen, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court for dropping the cigarette and leaving it there.
The offence took place on March 15 in Stourbridge Road, Dudley.
The 34-year-old was prosecuted under section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Davis-Smith was fined £220.00, a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £175.
She must pay a total of £429.
