Pantomimes are able to return to the stage this Christmas.
Here are the pantomimes spreading cheer across Worcestershire this festive season.
1. Beauty and the Beast
The Swan Theatre are putting on a performance of Beauty and the Beast.
The cast is made up of Worcester Repertory Company and is directed by Paul Milton.
Tickets range from £10-£20 and are available until January, Sunday 2.
The Swan Theatre have said: "Join the Worcester Repertory Company for a tale as old as time in this spellbinding family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast!"
2. Peter Pan
Malvern Theatres will be putting on Peter Pan this Christmas.
The theatre said: "Flying into Malvern for Christmas 2021 is the swashbuckling adventure, Peter Pan starring West End and Emmerdale star Tom Lister as Captain Hook, Malvern’s favourite funny man Mark James as Smee, Lloyd Warbey from Disney Junior’s Art Attack as Peter Pan, and Jenny Huxley-Golden as Emily Darling."
Depending on the performance date, tickets range from £10-£31.92.
3. Little Red Riding Hood
Kays theatre group will be putting Little Red Riding Hood on stage at the end of January.
From Thursday, January 20 to Sunday, January 30, the production will be on the Swan Theatre stage.
The pantomime will be directed by Paula Dymock and is the theatre groups' 67th production.
Tickets are priced at £13.50 each.
The group have said: "As always Kays is guaranteed to bring you a first rate panto with an all round, traditional family adventure filled with fun and laughter."
4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The Norbury Theatre in Droitwich will be performing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this January.
The show will be on from Friday, January 7 to Saturday, January 22.
Tickets to see this production cost from £10-£12.
The classic pantomime will be performed by the Norbury players.
The theatre have said: "We have worked hard to make sure The Norbury Theatre is ready to welcome you back, including a £65,000 major heating and ventilation project to enhance your theatre experience."
5. Jack and the Beanstalk
The monday night group will be performing the show at The Civic, Stourport-on-Severn.
The shows will be on stage from Friday, January 21 to Saturday, January 29.
Tickets are £13 and £11 for children or seniors.
The monday night group invites you to make a donation after the production which is added to their pantomime profits and then given back to community projects in Worcestershire.
