PEOPLE who want to make a career change or learn new skills are being invited to an open evening at Halesowen College.

The college on Whittingham Road is holding its adult and higher education open evening tomorrow (Thursday January 6) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

If applicants have a West Midlands Combined Authority postcode, Access to Higher Education, Midwifery, Nursing and Science courses are free.

Anyone who is looking to kick the new year off in style to learn new skills or have a change of career can attend to see all the courses on offer.

There will also be the opportunity to book a slot with the college’s dedicated adult careers coach.

There are also lots of free distance learning courses and Corporate Professional Development Courses for as little as £10.

The college also offers GCSE English and Maths fast track options.

Alex Gettings, from the college, said: “There are lots of courses available for anyone who is thinking about a change of career or a new start in a new year.
