THERE was a large armed police presence at McDonald's in Cradley today.
Multiple unmarked police cars and armed police officers were at the fast food outlet on Park Road at around 1pm today (Saturday April 9).
They were at the drive thru with one car blocking the entrance to the car park.
There were also reports of armed police in Colley Gate near the former Labour Club at around 1.15pm today.
It is not known if the police presence is due to the shooting at Homer Hill Park last night which left a 17-year-old boy in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries, but police had warned people to be aware they might see officers in the area today as they examine CCTV and try to establish a motive for the shooting in the hunt for the attacker.
