PEOPLE across the borough can take part in a short walking challenge to help them to get moving this spring.
Dudley Council has mapped out a free to use gentle one-mile route around Saltwells National Nature Reserve.
The walk is aimed at people who don't do much exercise as part of the council’s ‘Let’s Get Moving’ campaign, but anyone can take part.
The route takes in Saltwells National Nature Reserve’s bluebells, which flower in April and May.
Karen Wright, Dudley's director of public health, said: "This gentle one-mile walk is something that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy and it’s a great chance to start moving this spring."
The route and map can be downloaded online.
Afterwards, participants can download a certificate for taking part.
Printed copies can also be picked up from the nature reserve wardens base, libraries, family centres and Netherton Park activity centre.
