A HALESOWEN pet rescue is holding a family fun day to raise much-needed funds.
Peppers Pet Rescue is holding the event at Hill and Cakemore Liberal Club on Nimmings Road, Halesowen, on Monday August 29 from noon till 3pm.
There will be fun for all the family including a chance to meet rabbits needing homes and cute kittens.
Entertainment will include a bouncy castle, tombolas, face painting, carnival games, mascot characters, balloon modelling, cakes and more.
The rescue is run by Sophie Pepper from her home on the Lodgefield estate with the help of small team of dedicated volunteers.
It has seen a massive increase in requests to help animals in Halesowen and surrounding areas.
Entrance to the fun day is free. All money raised will go to Peppers Pet Rescue, which has a Facebook page.
