A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Oldbury.
On Sunday, September 11, police, and paramedics were called to Newbury Lane just after 2 am to reports of a stabbing.
A man aged 32 suffered chest wounds and was taken to hospital.
Colin Phipps, of Minister Close, Rowley Regis has been charged with attempted murder.
The 38-year-old appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on September 13 and is due to appear at the same court on October 11 for a plea hearing.
Three other people who were arrested at the time of the incident on suspicion of violent disorder have been released with no charge.
