HALESOWEN Choral Society is set to raise the roof for a seasonal spectacular musical event.
The society will be staging its Autumn Concert on Saturday November 5 at St Margaret's Church in Hasbury.
The show will feature performances by the Halesowen Choral Society Symphonia led by David Gregory and conducted by Stephen Davies.
The show will also feature contributions from soloists Alexandra Saunders, Gemma King, Rebecca Lloyd, Ash Turnell and Henry Saywell.
The performance will include works by the eighteenth century composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and George Frederick Handel who was born in Germany but later became a British citizen.
Handel, best known for his orchestral Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks, died in 1759 and is buried in Westminster Abbey.
Tickets for the choral society's performance cost £10 and are available from choir members or by calling 0121 550 7206.
