Council bosses are on the hunt for performers eager to show off their talents in front of three-figure audiencesat switch-on events in Halesowen, Stourbridge, Sedgley, Dudley and Brierley Hill.
Singers, dancers, musicians and groups are welcome to express their interest in taking to the stage at the events, which will begin on Saturday November 19 in Halesowen.
A day later, Sedgley will host its lights switch-on, before Stourbridge’s event on Saturday November 26; while Dudley and Brierley Hill will host festive events on Saturday December 3.
Councillor Simon Phipps, Dudley's cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "The Christmas lights switch-on events are always well supported by residents in our borough towns. We love to showcase local talent and it’s a fantastic opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of people.
"We hope people come along to the events, enjoy the entertainment on offer and show their support for local businesses."
