A MAN has been rushed to hospital with “life-threatening” injuries following an incident at Cradley Heath Railway Station.
British Transport Police were called to the station at 7.23am this morning (29 November) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics attended the incident and a man has been taken to hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, according to the British Transport Police.
Trains have been delayed or cancelled between Kidderminster and Birmingham Moor Street following the incident.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.22am to Cradley Heath Railway Station, Forge Lane.
"Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, HART paramedics, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended.
"Crews arrived to find a pedestrian, a man, who had sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and received trauma care on scene before being conveyed on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham".
