Woody the Jackapoo was treated to a makeover thanks to dog grooming students and Halesowen College’s new dog grooming salon.
HappyPaws@B63 means students can hone their skills and dog owners can bring in their pooches every Wednesday and Thursday for a pampering session.
Learner dog groomers will be completing the styles supervised and supported by experienced Level Three qualified dog groomers.
Charlotte Raybould, from Halesowen College, said: “Woody loves his dog grooming time at college, we started with staff pets and now we have expanded so any dog owners can come along.
“We started because there is a huge demand for dog grooming services, and it is a growing sector for people to enter. By becoming qualified dog groomer, you will have a better understanding of the skills and knowledge you need in when working in a grooming sector.”
