AN arrest has been made after police were called to a "disturbance involving youths" near an Oldbury school.
West Midlands Police has confirmed a person has been arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply.
Officers confirmed the incident took place near Perryfields Academy earlier today (Thursday, January 26).
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance involving a number of youths on Tame Road, Oldbury, just before 4pm.
“Officers arrived and the group dispersed. Officers remain in the area and enquiries continue.
“One person was arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply.
“No one is believed to have been injured at this stage”.
