TOP tributes to hit 70s superbands Electric Light Orchestra and the Eagles are the latest additions to the line-up for this year’s Black Country Musicom Festival.
Explosive Light Orchestra and West Coast Eagles have been announced as the latest acts for the day-long event on Sunday July 16.
They will join tributes to Madonna, Coldplay and Harry Styles on the main stage in the grounds of Himley Hall, with the headline act to be revealed next week.
Also confirmed is Let’s Rock The 70s – a tribute band performing the decade’s greatest hits from the likes of Queen, Status Quo, Elton John, David Bowie and loads more.
Running from noon to 8pm on the Sunday, there'll also be a comedy tent, funfair, food and drink stalls, street entertainment and performances from local bands and musicians.
The day before, on Saturday July 15, there'll be dance anthems and club classics from 3pm to 10pm, with DJs putting on an evening of house music.
Councillor Shaun Keasey, Dudley Council's cabinet member for commercialisation and human resources, said: "We are delighted to add brilliant tributes from two of the biggest bands of the 1970s to the line-up for Musicom.
"With tributes to Madonna, Coldplay and Harry Styles already confirmed, and with the headliners to be announced next week, it’s shaping up to be an incredible weekend."
