A DISCOUNT supermarket is coming to a retail park in Oldbury.
Leading frozen food chain, Farmfoods, has signed a 10-year lease on a new unit at the Birchley Island Retail Park, off Wolverhampton Road.
Farmfoods is currently fitting out the new unit next to B&M, which it expects to open by the end of May.
The deal means all the units on the retail park, which opened last May and was home to Toys 'R' Us, are now taken.
It is already home to a JD Gyms, Swim!, B&M, McDonald's and a Tim Hortons drive-thru.
Richard Walker, of landlord Hortons, said: “Farmfoods completes a strong occupier line-up at Birchley Island Retail Park and our successful transformation of the site.
"The retail park is well located at a busy junction benefitting from high traffic flow and accessible to a large catchment area.
"It is very popular and all our tenants report higher than expected trading levels.”
An EV charging hub has also been installed on the site, which will be accessible to occupiers, customers and the wider community.
