HALESOWEN Library has launched two new film clubs this month.
The first, a children’s film club, runs on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 11.30am in the Shenstone Theatre within the library.
It's open to children aged up to 16 years and their parents or carers, and a range of family friendly favourites will be shown.
The second is a nostalgia film club, which runs on the second Thursday of each month at 2.30pm.
Open to all, the nostalgia club will show popular classics and films from yesteryear, free refreshments will also be available.
TBooking is advised to guarantee a place at either of the film clubs, either in person at Halesowen Library or by calling 01384 812980.
Library staff will also be able to advise on which films will be showing.
Stephanie Rhoden, partnership manager for Dudley Libraries, said: “Dudley’s libraries offer so much more than just books and these new film clubs at Halesowen Library are a great example of the wide range of activities on offer.
“Our children’s film club is a great way to keep the kids entertained at no cost on a weekend, while we hope our nostalgia film club will be a hit, particularly with older residents, encouraging them to get out of the house, socialise and reminisce without any associated costs.”
